TREE REMOVAL

We absolutely love to climb, big or small, it’s our favourite part of the job. Tree removal and pruning has many challenges from the very start to the very end. Site setup, equipment required, tree species, communication and safety are all considered on every single job. Fruit tree pruning is a favourite and specialty that we pride ourselves on doing extremely well for a maximum harvest for our clients. Palm trees and yukkas can also be managed and disposed of appropriately.

DANGEROUS REMOVAL & EMERGENCY WORKS
Storms and bad weather are a likely time for tree failure. Whole trees or just parts can fail, bend, break and create a serious mess with whatever they land on. Call us as soon as it happens and we can co-ordinate the clean-up for you. Day or night, we can get the job done safely.
WOOD SPLITTING
& FIREWOOD
If you have just had a tree removed and would like to keep the wood for the winter, we are happy to accommodate. We can cut the wood into foot block lengths and you can split it yourself or we can split it for you.
Sometimes the client does not want to keep the wood. If you would like some firewood, get in touch and we can add you to our list.
HEDGING
We take pride in our ability to shape your hedges just how you ask for them. Hedging takes time and patience to get a good result. Some species of hedge will not recover if pruned incorrectly. With many years’ experience, our team is happy to help you get the job done to a high-quality standard.
STUMP GRINDING
Do you have a stump you need removed?
Stump grinding is the final piece of the puzzle after trees have been removed. We have the machinery required to get your job done, no matter how big or small the stump is. The remaining debris is a mix of soil and wood from the stumps. It will start off heaped and compact down to a flat level surface that is ready for your next planting or lawn. FREE MULCH
As a result of chipping up the trees we cut, we will often finish the day with a truck full of mulch. We are happy to give the mulch away to our customers that would like it for their gardens. Mulch is amazing for water retention as well as weed suppression. Our truck can deliver up to 12 cubic metres of mulch. Let us know how much you would like and we will add you to our list.
